As of my knwoledge the issue you are facing is due to either an incompatible graphics driver or the drivers are not installed properly.
Yacinthus Created on December 10, I guess they didn’t feel the need to do any compatibility checks. I need a driver that can let me enable the aero effects. This works for me with my old ATI x in Windows 7, 8.

You can also contact your ATi Radeon vendor for getting a driver,which is compatible with Windows 7. I can choose the ATI Radeon Mobility X driver and the install will begin but stops a moment later with an error message that the software is not compatible with the OS.
